Infant Massage Instructors

Infant Massage Instructors trained through IAIM have been through a comprehensive process of training and course work before they become certified as an instructor.

Instructors NEVER massage someone else's baby.  Instead they use a doll to teach parents how to use nurturing touch and massage with their baby.

Instructors offer a 5-week course or a series of individual sessions to teach parents a whole body massage with their baby.  It can take time for babies to learn to accept new touch and massage techniques, and out of respect for the baby the massage is introduced in bite-sized chunks that the baby can tolerate and the parent can remember.  By the end of 5 weeks parents feel well supported to massage their baby at home.
