If you would first like to speak to the NZ IAIM Trainer before applying, please contact P-J McCrea on: [email protected] The course costs $850 (includes a non-refundable amount of $100 if you cancel your place up to 3 weeks before the course start date. If you cancel within 3 weeks of the course start, the full course cost is non-refundable, but a future course date can be negotiated with the trainer - at their discretion, and according to available space). This payment covers: course fees for 4-day training, accompanying handbook/manual, compendium of training notes, follow-up feedback and assessment of your certification assignment plus $60 membership fee to IAIMNZ for the current year. To secure a place on the course: at least a deposit of $250 is required at time of submitting your application (of which $100 is non-refundable if you cancel your place up to 3 weeks before the course start date). Full payment can be made at the time of booking, and you will be able to receive your pre-reading sooner. Otherwise, full payment must be paid by 3 weeks out from the training start date at which point pre-reading will be sent out (not applicable for those who are returning as a student as you will already have the pre-reading book). Payment Plan Option: we offer plans for students allowing them to make weekly/monthly instalments, you must make contact with the trainer if you wish to choose this option. You will need a doll for the course and your new role as an infant massage instructor. The doll needs to have a hard face, hands and feet, but soft arms, legs and body and sized needs to be about 22 inches. The doll’s eyes need to be open. Many dolls in toys shops are not appropriate for infant massage instruction as they may be too small or hard all over. Contact P-J McCrea for a list of suitable dolls to purchase for this course if you are having trouble. There is even a sustainable option! |
